Helene McCarthy has drawn on her own experiences to write this very helpful book, Voices of Dementia Carers, especially for those who are caring for people with dementia. Almost 400,000 people in Australia are living with dementia. This means that there are huge numbers of carers who are looking after these people. The book provides practical suggestions for coping with the carer journey. It also lists organisations that are able to give support.
