On a lovely sunny day, just great for exploring, Luna-Bell the ladybug was keen to meet new friends. While she was flying around she saw some insects on the ground, and so she flew down to talk to them. They were Whitney the butterfly and Chip the caterpillar. Later they introduced her to Sydney the spider, Lavender the magician and Bella the bird who did beat-boxing. They could do all sorts of tricks they learned at the Performing School of Arts. Luna-Bell asked to enrol at the school, and she learned to paint. On the school’s Performance Day, they showed all their talents to the audience who cheered loudly. It was such an exciting day, and they enjoyed it so much, performing with their friends. Imogen Lambeth’s brightly coloured illustrations introduce her readers to these somewhat eccentric but very talented people.
Imogen Lambeth is a writer and illustrator based in Gimuy, Cairns, Australia, and this is her third published book. Her second published book, Frank the DJ, was written in collaboration with Andrew Barton, following her debut work, Lucky the Little Bird.
