Reading poetry can be a way of dealing with the good and the bad events in life. Suddenly, there was music coming from outside. A young man was standing next to his car, waving his arms around! It turned out that he was practising conducting. He was a music student, but his flatmates didn’t like his choice of music, which in this instance was by Rachmaninoff. To share his love of this great composer, he gave the curious woman a CD of the music.
She went inside enlivened
by the actions of a stranger
who provided beautiful music…
