Maria Dalmon’s second book, The Intrepid Wheelies, is now at the printer and will be released very soon. If you wish to pre-order the book, the details are below.
Maria’s first book, Don’t Tell Me I Can’t, describes her life with cerebral palsy and the way she overcame, through sheer determination, many obstacles. In many ways, her life was very normal, as she went to Girl Guides, she learned to sail a yacht, and she worked as an administrative assistant. On her own, and later with her husband Lindsay, she tackled many challenges, such as climbing to the top of Mt Kosciusko in a wheelchair and giving papers at overseas conferences about the special training she had undertaken to overcome her physical difficulties.
In her new book, Maria shares her passion for travel. She and Lindsay have travelled to many overseas countries, travelling by aeroplane and cruise ship. They certainly enjoy living life to the full!
