The 2nd edition of “The Science Rhymes Book”, by the talented poet, Celia Berrell, has just been published. Celia, aka the “Science Queen”, loves to create amazing and humorous poems for children, using science as her subject. The book is lovingly illustrated with humorous drawings to capture children’s interest and help them learn more about science, in the context of everyday things that they are familiar with.
Celia is also a wonderful performer and presenter, and works extensively with school students to increase their love both of poetry and of science.
The accuracy and appropriateness of the science content has been approved by universities in Australia and the United Kingdom. “The Science Rhymes Book” is an illustration of how science concepts can be presented to children in a fun way.
