Jabiru Publishing has just released an important new book by Dr Isobel Hubbard, Changing Stroke: Radical Rethink of Recovery, on radical ideas for helping people recover from stroke. Dr Hubbard is an Occupational Therapist, academic researcher and Director of the training company, CPDLife.
The book is based on recent research in the field, and provides practical guidance and suggestions for change in stroke treatment. The book is aimed at health carers of those with stroke, as well as policy-makers who make decisions about the way stroke care is administered in the health system.
