Hazel Menehira’s two companion books have just been released by Jabiru Publishing. “Below a Time” is a collection of new and selected stories – quirky, humorous, full of pathos and highly original. “Beyond a Time” is a collection of wonderful poems – some new ones, as well as favourites.
The books will be launched on Friday 12 September at 5.00 pm at the Cairns Tropical Writers Festival, Rydges Tradewinds, Cairns Esplanade. The books are available from the Shop.

Looking forward to reading them, Hazel. I just loved your previous book about your life in NZ. I have just begun to write again after a busy year. I wonder if you do your own editing! I appreciate seeing whom you have discovered to publish with.

Thank you Hazel for the fantastic short stories in your book Below time. Some of the stories made me laugh out loud and some of them took me by surprise at the ending. Great Great Great. Easy to read and I look forward to the next lot of short stories. Suzanne
